Dogs name: ______________________

__________    ***** Kennel hours of operation are 8am-8pm 7 days a week. ***********

_________    Please, don’t or let children pet or visit with any other dogs in the Kennel.

(Not all dogs are friendly.) Like yours.  If I am around we may be able to see some of the dogs.

Please help reduce noise and stress in the kennel & to the neighborhood

__________ When dropping off your dog for boarding please say your good byes out in the exercise area.  Use a leash and  take them to their run.  Same thing at pick up say  your hello’s back out in the kennel exercise area.  This will reduce the barking and stress on the other dogs staying in the kennel.  (who aren’t as lucky as yours to be going home)

_________      Kennel agrees to exercise due and reasonable care, and to keep the kennel premises sanitary and properly enclosed.

__________    The dog(s) is (are) to be fed properly and regularly, and to be housed in clean, safe quarters.

__________   Owner understands and agrees that dog(s) charges are as follows, they will be charged for the 1st day no matter what time dog is dropped off, picked up by Noon on pick up day will not be charged for that day, picked up after Noon will be charged for that day.

_________   Owner further agrees that pet(s) shall not leave the Kennel until all charges are paid to Kennel by Owner.

__________   If the pet(s) become ill or if the state of the animal’s health otherwise requires professional attention, Kennel, in its sole discretion, may engage the services of a veterinarian of its choosing, or administer medicine, or give other requisite attention to the animal, and expenses thereof shall be paid by Owner.

_________   If dog is left for 7 days after agreed upon pickup day without owner notifying kennel it will be considered an abandoned dog and kennel owner can call the human society to pick the dog up.

_________   I acknowledge the risks of communal boarding.  Dogs together in a concentrated area may result in spreading of illnesses such as kennel cough.  No vaccine is 100%  effective against any illness.

_________   For the safety of your dog and others please no choke or pinch collars.  Buckle collars with identification tags are  permitted.

_________   Be aware that pets especially older pets, are placed under a great deal of stress due to the removal from their normal and comfortable home environment.  This stress  can cause latent (dormant) physical conditions (such as heart, liver and kidney disorders) to become active or compromise the immune system resulting in illness such as diarrhea, kennel cough, depression, nervousness, dehydration or even death.

___________ Kennel is not responsible for items brought along with your pet(s) like blankets, beds, toys, etc.  So if you bring items from home with your pet, be sure they are expendable.  Some toys and chewies are not safe when unsupervised (ex: rawhides are a chocking hazard). For the safety of your pet and others kenneling bring along safe toys.
